The general terms & conditions apply when you as a consumer (the “Customer”) place an order via www.carledmond.com (the “Website”).
In order to place an order through the Website, the Customer must accept the Terms & Conditions. By accepting the Terms & Conditions the Customer undertakes to comply with the General Conditions in its entirety and acknowledges that he/she has read the information and consents to the use according to Carl Edmonds Terms & Conditions.
You can at any time remove product from the cart before you have placed an order.
To place an order you click on “PLACE ORDER”.
Once we have received your order we will send an electronic invoice to your e-mail address as a confirmation of your purchase. It is important that you enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend saving this email in order to facilitate any contact with customer service you may have in the future. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as guarantee of proof of purchase.
4. Payment, prices & fees
The prices are presented in either SEK, EURO (€) or DOLLAR ($). You choose your currency by choosing Sweden, Europe or Global in the left hand corner of the website. The prices you see on the product(s) are the total price since we at Carl Edmond don’t have any shipping fee. It is free shipping and returns all over the world.
You can make your payment by using most of the major debit and credit cards and local payment methods (e.g. Visa, MasterCard and American Express). If your payment is not confirmed, your order will not be accepted.
All prices shown on Carl Edmond's website, www.carledmond.com, are including VAT, in accordance with the applicable legislation. In case an order will be shipped to a delivery address outside the EU, please note that the VAT is removed at the checkout or earlier depending on which country the product will be delivered to.
Please note that in case of an order is shipped to an delivery address outside the EU, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes. It should be noted that Carl Edmond has no control over these charges and, since these charges are different for different countries, Carl Edmond cannot predict their amount. Carl Edmond advises you to contact your local customs office for further information.
Carl Edmond ships worldwide. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners. Delivery time normally takes about 2-5 business days.
In cases, you as a customer believe that the delivery is delayed in such a way that you no longer wish to fulfill the order, it is your responsibility to cancel the order. In cases where the order has been dispatched, the customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the customer has confirmed with Carl Edmond either by email or telephone. If a product has been discontinued Carl Edmond has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to the customer. Carl Edmond will notify the customer of a replacement or equivalent products if available.
7. Returns & exchange
Consumers have the right to return the order within 30 days from receiving the order. The right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as when received. If consumers use their right to send back an order, they should contact Carl Edmond at email@example.com for more information. Return shipping is paid by Carl Edmond.
If you live in a geographical area where the national postal service does not offer returns, the customer may be obliged to pay for the return shipping but will get the refund by sending us the receipt.
If an item is damaged during transport, Carl Edmond should be contacted within 30 days for information about compensation.
Carl Edmond gives you a 3 years Warranty (2 years + 1 year up on registration.) from the date of the purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects on the watch itself (movement, case, crystal). Other parts than the above are not covered by this warranty. In the e-mail you need to specify:

Write ‘reclaim of purchase’ as subject of the e-mail or letter.
Return shipping is paid by Carl Edmond. If Carl Edmond cannot find any defects described above, the product will be sent back to the customer.
Note that repair/replacements will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty term.
- Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification
Failure or damage caused by fire or water, or a natural disaster such as for example an earthquake
Esthetical changes that occur during normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches, etc.; on the case and/or crystal, alteration of the colour on the wristband and the peeling of the plating)
In case the retail store and the purchase date are not indicated on the warranty, or if this information has been rewritten
If the warranty is not submitted along with the watch.
Battery replacement will be charged even during the warranty term.
The case, dial, hands, crystal, watchband or other parts thereof may be replaced with substitutes if the originals are not available.
This warranty warrants that you can receive free replacement in accordance with the terms set forth herein and within the specified term, and shall not restrict any lawful right of the Customer.
9. Discount codes
Discount codes may be offered some times to account holders; such codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered. We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made through this Website. Only one promotional discount code can be applied to an order. The conditions of use relating to any discount code will be specified at the time of issue.
10. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are only valid for a limited time and the voucher must be used by the date shown on the voucher – check your voucher to find out when you can use it. Carl Edmond can’t accept any responsibility for stolen or deleted gift vouchers.
If you are the purchaser but are giving the gift voucher to someone else, please double check the delivery (email) address you enter – it is your responsibility to do so and we’re afraid we can’t be held responsible if a gift voucher is used by someone other than your recipient if the (email) address entered is incorrect. In addition, we can not take responsibility for any gift vouchers that are lost or used by someone other than your recipient after delivery.
If you need a refund, this will be made in the same way as the original payment method.

11. Complaints terms
It is important that you as a customer carefully check your goods / products when you receive your shipment in order to verify that the products are not damaged and that they are correct. If your product is damaged in transport, whether the damage is visible or hidden, you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. If you receive your item and see that it is damaged or does not match the one you ordered, you shall also contact us within 30 days from receiving the product.
Any complaints shall be made to our customer service through our contact form on the contact page. Please supply the order number and the reason for complaint and we will get back to you shortly. Same applies for returns. Defective products returned to Carl Edmond should be treated as if they were faultless. It is in all types of returns extremely important that the product is packaged in such a way that it cannot be damaged during transit. Carl Edmond has the right to replace defective goods with goods of the same model. If the item has been discontinued, the customer will receive a full refund. In the case that a returned product has no errors or faults, Carl Edmond will send the product back to the customer.
Carl Edmond responsibility for errors in connection to delivery is limited to existing conditions of sale. Carl Edmond bears no direct or indirect responsibility for example, but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm.
13. Force Majeure
Carl Edmond shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. As the release factor should be considered include government intervention, new / amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labor disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of delivery from suppliers and the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects activities.
14. Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright, on the website and in the material published on it are owned by Carl Edmond or its subsidiaries or licensors. Any use of the site or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of Carl Edmond.
15. User content
The www.carledmond.com website may include user generated content from for example social media applications. Carl Edmond does not claim any ownership in rights in such content (images, photos and videos etc.) and take no legal responsibility for it. In case you for suspect a violation of copyright, or any other right, or otherwise is offended by such content, please contact our customer service.
16. Retention of title
All products remain in Carl Edmond property until full payment is made.
All frauds are reported to the authorities and Carl Edmond reserves the right to cancel the purchase if any suspicion is raised.
